Prophet Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, has denied allegations linking him to fraudulent financial activities, dismissing claims that his bank account has been used to receive money from fraudsters and that the FBI would soon pursue him.
“I heard reports that someone claimed I have been using my bank account to receive money from fraudsters and that the FBI would soon come after me. If you really want to know how I make my money, come closer to me. I have favour, acceptance, and luck,” he said.
The response follows renewed public scrutiny of Ajagurajah after a resurfaced video showed him previously offering spiritual assurances of protection to Frederick Kumi, known as Abu Trica, the Swedru businessman recently extradited to the United States over an alleged $8 million romance fraud scheme targeting elderly Americans. In the earlier video, Ajagurajah had told Abu Trica he had “fortified” him spiritually and that nothing could harm him.
Ajagurajah has not been named in any official FBI indictment or Ghanaian law enforcement action, and his remarks appear to be a pre-emptive response to online speculation rather than a reaction to any confirmed formal investigation. Neither the FBI nor Ghanaian authorities have commented on his statement.
