C&S announces seven-day prayers for late Prophet Emmanuel Alogbo

The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, has announced a seven-day daily prayer programme following the death of its Spiritual Father and Chairman, His Most Eminence, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Adewale Abiodun Alogbo.

Prophet Alogbo, who was also the Spiritual Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, died in the early hours of Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the age of 93.

The announcement was contained in a circular signed by the Secretary General of the church, Snr. Sp./Ap. Prophet (Dr.) Anthony Olusesan Samaye, and addressed to church leaders and members worldwide.

The circular stated: “With gratitude to God Almighty for a life well spent, on behalf of the Board of Trustees (BoT) and the entire church, I write to inform you all that our Spiritual Father, His Most Eminence, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Adewale Abiodun Alogbo, JP, FNCAM, DDM, GCOMS, was called to glory early hours of today, July 30th, 2026 at around 2:10 AM.”

According to the church, the revered cleric passed away peacefully at his residence.

“He was surrounded by his family members and all his domestic staffs, while he passed on to glory peacefully at his residence,” the statement added.

As part of activities to honour the late church leader, the church announced that prayers would be held daily for seven days at his residence.

“Prayers will be held daily by 5:00PM for seven days at his residence located at Plot 1 Alogbo Close, off Ahmadiyya bus stop, Ijaiye Ojokoro, Lagos,” the circular stated.

The church prayed for the repose of his soul and strength for members to bear the loss.

“May his soul rest in perfect peace and May God grant the Church the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Amen.”

It added that burial arrangements would be announced later.

Until his death, Prophet Alogbo served as the Supreme Head (Olori) of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria as well as the Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O.
