Delta court grants 30yr old suspected fake lawyer N200,000 bail

A Magistrate Court sitting in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State have granted bail to a 30- year-old suspected fake lawyer, Collins Ehibor.
The Court presided over by a Chief Magistrate, Gregory Epete Esq granted him bail in the sum of N200,000.00 with two sureties after he pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against him.
The Court also adjourned the matter to July 14, 2026, for further hearing.
The alleged fake lawyer, Collins Ehibor was arrested and charged before the Magistrate Court on July 6, 2026 with Charge No. ME/89C/2026:
He was arraigned on two count charges bordering on impersonation, punishable under Section 484 of the Criminal Code, and fraudulently obtaining by false pretense, punishable under Section 419 of the Criminal Code.
He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail by the Court in the sum of N200,000.00 with two sureties.
The courtroom was packed full with members of the Effurun Branch of the NBA and other concerned individuals, witnessing the proceedings.
