Disturbing comments made by some men after the arrest of a 49-year-old man over alleged s3xual abuse of his wife’s teenage niece in Imo State have left many shocked.
Imo journalist, Chidiebube Okeoma said the incident happened in Egbu community, Owerri North Local Government Area.
According to Okeoma, the suspect was caught by the youths of Egbu community def!ling his wife’s niece who lives with them.
“The girl said that the man has defiled her five times. She also said that the man’s wife and daughter were aware of it but they merely cautioned the man until the vigilant youth of the community caught him in the act again, today,” he wrote.
“This is coming just two days after we embarked on an awareness campaign walk against all forms of child abuse in Imo State.”
