Dessers keen to shine for Panatinakos after injury layoff

Cyriel Dessers can’t wait to return to action again after spending around six months on the sidelines, DAILY POST reports.
The Panatinakos striker copped an injury during training at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in January.
The 31-year-old failed to make an appearance for Nigeria at the competition before returning to Greece for treatment.
Dessers, who joined Panatinakos from Scottish Premiership giants Rangers last summer only featured five times for the club.
The striker has returned to full training ahead of the new season.
The Nigeria international is determined to get on the pitch again, and help the club will laurels.
“I am working extremely hard to be in top shape this season. Giving it my all, scoring goals, winning matches, and lifting trophies,” Dessers told BN DeStem.
