Seven Years On, Daggo Group Rewards 15 Employees With Cars, Reflecting CEO’s People-First Leadership

When Daggo Group recently celebrated its seventh anniversary, it was not the speeches or entertainment that became the biggest talking point. Instead, it was a gesture that left many guests inspired.

Fifteen long-serving employees drove home in brand-new vehicles, rewarded by the company’s Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mohammed Daggo, in recognition of their loyalty, commitment and contribution to the organisation’s growth over the years.

Over the past seven years, Dr. Daggo has quietly built Daggo Group into one of Nigeria’s growing multi-sector enterprises, with interests spanning e-commerce, media, alternative healthcare and logistics. Through subsidiaries including Daggo Media, Bioharb Global and Daggo Express, the Group now operates across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Zambia, employs more than 400 people and serves millions of customers across Africa.

While the Group has continued to expand its business footprint, those who have followed its journey say one principle has remained constant: building people alongside businesses.

Speaking during the anniversary celebration, Dr. Daggo expressed appreciation to employees who stood with the company from its early days, describing their dedication and belief in the vision as instrumental to the organisation’s growth. The presentation of the vehicles, he noted, was a way of recognising those whose commitment helped shape the company’s success.

The event also brought together business leaders, partners and members of the Daggo Group family to celebrate seven years of growth, resilience and expansion. Renowned entrepreneur Dr. Stephen Akintayo, who attended the celebration, shared insights on entrepreneurship, leadership and business growth while commending the company’s progress over the years.

Beyond business growth, Daggo Group has continued to make its mark through employment creation and enterprise development. With more than 400 employees across its operations, the organisation has become a source of livelihood for hundreds of families while expanding access to digital commerce, logistics solutions and alternative healthcare products in different African markets.

That commitment will continue later this month when he hosts the 9-Figure Business Expansion Conference in Kenya.
