A young woman has sparked widespread reactions after accusing a Catholic priest of allegedly demanding sex in exchange for providing her with a place to sleep.
Speaking during an interview on the Outside the Box Podcast, she claimed the incident occurred after she was forced to leave her uncle’s house and had nowhere to spend the night.
According to her, she sought refuge at a well-known Catholic church in Lagos, hoping the church would offer her temporary shelter.
However, she alleged that the priest told her she could only stay if she agreed to have sex with him.
The woman said she rejected the alleged demand and chose to find somewhere else to spend the night rather than comply.
