Inspector crushed to de@th by Police convoy in Enugu

A Police Inspector, Dr. Obodo Paul Ikechukwu, has reportedly d!ed after he was involved in a road accident allegedly involving a police convoy in Enugu State.

Dr. Obodo, who hails from Nkpologu in Enugu State, was serving in the Operations Department of the Enugu State Police Headquarters at the time of the incident.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are still unclear. However, sources said the inspector d!ed after he was struck by a vehicle in a police convoy.

Dr. Obodo, who also held a PhD, was described by colleagues and associates as a dedicated officer. They said his de@th came as a shock to members of the police command and his community.

The Enugu State Police Command is yet to react to the unfortunate incident.
