Jide Kosoko Defends Tinubu’s Government, Urges Nigerians to Wait

Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has shared his views on President Bola Tinubu’s administration, arguing that more time is needed for its policies to be fully implemented.

Speaking during an interview shared online, the veteran actor said it would be premature to assess the administration at this stage, urging Nigerians to exercise patience before passing judgement.

He acknowledged that President Tinubu is not infallible, stressing that no leader can be perfect.

He likened governance to constructing a building, arguing that a structure cannot be assessed or graded until it is complete, and maintained that Tinubu, being human, cannot be expected to be flawless.

He further alleged that opposition figures shape public perception by feeding narratives that citizens end up internalising and repeating without independent scrutiny.

Kosoko also accused the opposition of using propaganda to influence the younger generation, claiming that Gen Z Nigerians are particularly susceptible to manipulation and control, and that once influenced, they tend to act on those narratives without restraint.
