“Obi/Kwankwaso ticket will heal Nigeria” – Buba Galadima

A chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Buba Galadima, has described the Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso ticket as a “healing ticket” for the country.

Galadima said the NDC presidential candidate and his running mate would bring the much-needed healing to Nigeria if they win the 2027 presidential election.

He made this disclosure while speaking in an interview on Arise Television on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

The NDC chieftain explained that members of the Kwankwasiyya movement partnered with the Obidient Movement because they believe the alliance can rebuild trust among Nigerians.

“It is our belief that this is the only ticket that can salvage Nigeria. Not only salvage it, but it is a ticket we call the ‘healing ticket,’ designed so that we can forget the past,” Galadima said.

He added that Peter Obi has promised to focus on three key areas — security, agriculture, and education — if elected president.

“Peter Obi has agreed that if he becomes the President of Nigeria, he will not only address these three issues personally, but he will make us part of those who will work on these issues,” he said.
