Terrorists block road in Niger State, k!ll driver and abduct 3 traders

A commercial driver, Jibrin Mohammed, has been k!lled by terrorists on the New Bussa-Ibbi road in Borgu LGA of Niger State.

A witness told Daily Trust that Jibrin, also known as Dogon Bodies, and six traders in his vehicle were returning from Sabon-Pegi weekly market around 10pm on Sunday when he rammed into a road block mounted by terrorists.

He said the attackers opened fire, targeting the driver who d!ed on the spot, while three traders sustained gunshot injuries and three others were kidnapped.
 

“Terrorists suspected to be members of the Lakurawa group in large numbers blocked the Ibbi–Patiko–New Bussa road around 10pm yesterday (Sunday).

“They operated for several hours. Jibrin was k!lled, and three of his passengers sustained serious injuries and three others were kidnapped,” he said.
