Transfer: Falconets star Moshood seals move to Portuguese club SCU Torreense

Falconets midfielder Shakirat Moshood has joined Portuguese club SCU Torreense on a two-year contract, DAILY POST reports.
Moshood linked up with SCU Torreense from former Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, champions Bayelsa Queens.
The move marks the beginning of the 18-year-old’s professional career in Europe.
The youngster captained the Flamingos at the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
Moshood was runners-up in the 2025 CAF Women’s Youth Player of the Year award.
She was part of the Falconets squad that qualified for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup which will hold in Poland in September.
SCU Torreense will compete in the UEFA Women’s Champions League for the first time next season.
