VIDEO: Disaster averted as bus driver suffers seizure on Third Mainland Bridge

Panic erupted on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos after a commercial bus driver reportedly suffered a seizure while driving, sparking fears of a potentially fatal accident.

According to reports circulating online, the bus was said to have almost plunged off the bridge before a passenger seated beside the driver quickly took control of the steering wheel and applied the brakes.

The passenger’s swift intervention reportedly prevented what could have resulted in a major tragedy, bringing the vehicle to a safe stop and averting possible casualties.

The condition of the driver and other passengers was not immediately known at the time of filing this report.
