Why I haven’t brought my twins to Nigeria — Davido

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has explained why his twin children are yet to relocate to Nigeria, saying he is waiting for his newly acquired home to be completed before bringing them back.
The singer made the disclosure during a livestream, where he spoke about his family’s next plans with his wife, Chioma Adeleke.
According to Davido, the twins, who are currently in the United States, will move to Nigeria once the family’s new mansion is ready.
“Of course. They will go to Ede in Osun State. Definitely. My problem is just that I want the house to finish first. Once the house is done, they can come to their palace and live like king and queen,” he said.

Davido also revealed that he and Chioma recently bought a bigger house and are preparing to move into it next week.
“Me and my wife just bought a new house. Not the one I’m in now. We bought a bigger house now, in eight years, so we’re about to move like next week. The house is very huge,” he said.
The singer said his decision to get a larger home was inspired by his desire to give his children the same comfortable upbringing he enjoyed while growing up.
“I just want to do my kids like my daddy did for us. My daddy made us comfortable,” he added.
Davido also shared how his father, billionaire businessman Adedeji Adeleke, treats his grandchildren whenever they travel.
According to him, the children do not fly on commercial airlines when they are travelling with their grandfather.
“His grandchildren have never entered commercial flight. On grandpa’s watch, you see? Except maybe their mama carry them on commercial flights. But when they are with family, when they are with grandpa, they fly private jet,” Davido said.
