World Trade Organization Director-General, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has spotlighted vibrant Nigerian culture after sharing highlights from the WTO Open Day in Geneva, where traditional masquerades and dancers captivated visitors.

The Open Day event opened the WTO headquarters to the public, featuring cultural displays from member countries. Among the standout moments were energetic Nigerian masquerade performances that drew strong attention and praise.

Okonjo-Iweala, posting video highlights from the event, celebrated the diversity and color brought by participating nations, noting how cultural showcases helped bring the global trade body’s Open Day to life.

The Nigerian segment, in particular, became a crowd favorite, with footage showing lively performances that reflected the country’s rich heritage and tradition.
