Hell is real — Solomon Buchi replies Pastor Tobi Adegboyega + Video

Popular social media commentator, Solomon Buchi, has criticized UK-based Pastor Tobi Adegboyega for remarks that appeared to question the reality of hell and downplay traditional biblical teachings.

Pastor Adegboyega had questioned the need for Christians to fear hell and encouraged people to focus on building successful lives and making money.

Buchi countered in a recent post on social media that hell is a real spiritual consequence, challenging the theological perspective presented by the SPAC Nation founder.

He argued that Adegboyega’s position conflicts with what he described as fundamental Christian teachings on hell, righteousness and obedience to God.

The online personality, however, clarified that he does not support using fear of hell to compel people to serve God.

He maintained that hell exists because it is repeatedly referenced in the Bible.

“Hell is real. If it’s written in scriptures, it is real,” Buchi said.

He also took issue with what he described as Adegboyega’s emphasis on wealth and enjoying life without sufficient attention to God, righteousness and obedience.

The critic argued that encouraging people to pursue financial success without placing their relationship with God at the centre of the message could give an incomplete picture of Christian living.

“He doesn’t even believe in spirituality…He sounds so flimsy, more casual than some people who are not even Christians,” he said.

Buchi further challenged Adegboyega’s argument that the existence of hell could not be established because nobody had died, gone there and returned to provide firsthand evidence.

He questioned the reasoning behind such an argument, noting that applying the same standard to other aspects of Christian faith could similarly lead to doubts about the existence of Jesus Christ.
