Okpebholo Appoints Owolabi Chairman, Edo College of Health Sciences Governing Council

BENIN CITY — Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Adetutu Owolabi as Chairman of the Governing Council of the Edo State College of Health Sciences and Technology.
The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Umar Musa Ikhilor, announced the appointment in a Government Special Announcement.
According to the statement, Owolabi holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing, a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Nursing.
She is also an American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
The state government said Owolabi would take over from the current Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr. (Mrs.) Imoisili Udoka.
It expressed appreciation to Udoka for her contributions while serving as chairman, adding that she would be assigned another responsibility at a later date.
The government congratulated Owolabi on her appointment and wished her a successful tenure in office.
