Kidnapped 14-year-old Kaduna girl repeatedly r@ped in captivity regains freedom after N5m ransom payment

A 14-year-old girl who was kidnapped in Kaduna State has regained her freedom after N5m ransom payment.

Reuben Buhari, a journalist and former media aide to late Kaduna State Governor, Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa, disclosed this in a Facebook post on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

According to Buhari, the minor was abducted along with her elder sister three months ago.

He alleged that the victim was repeatedly r@ped right from the day they got to the bandits camp.

“She is just 14 years old. She was kidnapped with her elder sister, and they trekked for 3 days before getting to the camp. She was r@ped from the day she got there and released 3 months later when her parents paid N5 million and 4 motorcycles. She is now back, recuperating and medical tests showed no physical lasting effect. Pray for her,” he wrote.
