Royal family announces birth of newest member


The British royal family announced that Princess Eugenie has given birth to a baby girl at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal.
The baby was born on Monday, August 3, at 6:20p.m., weighing 6lbs 9oz.
This is Princess Eugenie’s third child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, following the births of her sons August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, who was born in 2021, and Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, who was born in 2023.
A statement from Buckingham Palace read: “Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news.”

In a post on Instagram, the princess, 36, wrote: “Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!!
“We are beyond in love with our girlie.”
They are yet to announce a name.
The new arrival will be 15th in line to the throne.
The couple live between Portugal and Ivy Cottage, in the grounds of Kensington Palace.
They announced Princess Eugenie’s pregnancy in May.
She posted a photograph of her young sons holding a baby scan with the caption: “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!”
