Missing 17-year-old LASU student found in Ekiti State

The missing 17-year-old student of the Lagos State University, Eniola Ogunsiji, has been found in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
But details were still sketchy as at press time about the recovery of the student who went missing on Friday, April 17, 2026.
A terse statement on Friday from one of those who had engaged in the advocacy of finding Ogunsiji said: “To the glory of God, this young girl has been found.Â
“She was found in Ado-Ekiti.Â
“LASU missing student.”
As earlier reported by The Eagle Online, Ogunsiji was reported missing after leaving home to write an examination.
According to information shared by the family, she left home around 7:30am on April 17, 2026, but did not arrive at the school.
According to the family, she was last seen wearing a white and pink outfit and was not with her phone at the time she went missing.
They appealed to the public for any information that could help locate her.
They said: “If you have seen her, given her a ride, or have ANY info please call immediately.Â
“No detail is too small.”
