Nissi brought her bold, genre-defying vision to life last night, Thursday , April 23rd, 2026, with a landmark headline performance at the Jazz Cafe, London.

Running from 19:00 – 22:30, the sold-out show was a statement of Afro-rooted artistry meeting global ambition, blending heritage, identity, and a forward-facing sound that had the Camden venue at capacity.

Kicking off the evening, Bxujii opened with a dynamic set that set the tone for the night’s cross-cultural energy, followed by DJ Spaceship Billy who elevated the room with high-octane selections.

Backed by her band The Nationals, Nissi took the stage for a headline set described by attendees as “a bold, elective expression of sound, culture, and identity.” The performance culminated in the live debut of her forthcoming single ‘Ova’, giving fans an exclusive first listen ahead of official release. UK rap standout Backroad Gee and Nigerian Artist Odumodu black also appeared as a special guest, delivering a surprise performance that pushed the night’s momentum to its peak.

“Last night was about connection — to roots, to each other, to where we’re going next. London, you felt that. ‘Ova’ is just the start. Thank you to everyone who shared that room with us,” said Nissi. The show reinforced Nissi’s position as an artist who is Afro-rooted and globally positioned, translating rich heritage into a sound that resonates across borders.

Notable attendees included Daniel Lee, Burberry Creative Director; Oloni, pop culture, sex and dating expert; artist Debbie; and comedian Eddie Kadi, underscoring the night’s cross-industry pull.
