Tinubu’s re-election not negotiable, says Adamawa APC congress chairman

The Adamawa State All Progressives Congress Ward and Local Government Congresses Chairman, Mr Ephraim Agber, has said that President Bola Tinubu’s re-election is “not negotiable,” adding that no contestant can stop it.
Addressing APC members during the local government congresses in Yola North Local Government Area on Thursday, Agber said the peaceful conduct of the exercise was a pointer that the party remained united.
“From what I saw today during my tour of the local government congresses, it is clear that President Tinubu has no competitor for the presidential election,” he said.
“The results of these congresses give me great joy that President Tinubu is already back for a second term unchallenged. From the House of Assembly to the National Assembly, all the way to the 36 governors, the APC will be in control,” he added.
He called on party chieftains and supporters in the state to remain united ahead of future elections, stressing that the APC had come to “rescue the country from the claws of poverty and maladministration.”
“Our government is people-oriented. We have come to stay and provide services that will ensure Nigerians enjoy the dividends of democracy,” he said.
Agber, who commended the peaceful and transparent conduct of the congresses, noted that the consensus approach adopted by party members without rancour demonstrated strong internal unity.
The Adamawa APC congress is scheduled to continue on Saturday.
