The image was accompanied by the caption: “TWO KINGS.” This was posted alongside a crown emoji.
Former US Assistant Secretary Philip Reeker, speaking to LBC’s Iain Dale, said: “It’s a little bit embarrassing.”
“I think, its again, a political dig trying to go after the so-called ‘No Kings’ movement.”
Trump has repeatedly been likened to a “king” by those opposed to his leadership.
A wave of “No Kings” protests has swept across the US, taking aim at his second term in office. Demonstrators have voiced their opposition to his immigration policies, his stance on the war in the Middle East and his broader political agenda.
