Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has opened up about his decision to turn down a reported one-million-dollar offer to sign with Mavin Records, sharing his reasons through a brief post on social media.
According to the rapper, a key factor behind his decision was his reluctance to maintain a high level of social media activity and constant fan engagement something he implied may be an expectation that comes with being signed to a major record label.
In his post, he explained that he prefers to keep a low and selective online presence, describing himself as someone who would rather post sparingly than be constantly visible and interactive with fans.
He framed his approach as a reflection of his personality and brand, presenting his reserved nature as a deliberate and confident choice rather than a limitation.
