Eid-el-Adha: Kingibe seeks peace, renewed commitment to service

Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Ireti Kingibe, has used the Eid al-Adha to express commitment towards advocating for policies and legislations that benefit Abuja residents.
Kingibe, while extending her warmest congratulations to the Muslim Ummah and all FCT residents, said the sacred festival underscores the importance of obedience, faith and sacrifice.
According to her, the period was a time for reflection, gratitude, renewal of commitments to service, justice and compassion.
A statement by her Senior Special Assistant on Media, Kennedy Mbele, said: “The legislator reaffirms her commitment towards advocating for policies and legislations that benefit Abuja residents, particularly the less privileged. She appreciates Nigerians for their patience, tolerance and resilience. She prays that the Almighty Allah accepts our sacrifices and grants our great nation, Nigeria, permanent peace.”
