Ceasefire Deal: ‘Trump, US will get a deal, Iran coming around’ – Hegseth

The United States says Iran is gradually coming around in the ongoing ceasefire meetings between the two countries.
The US Defence Secretary, Pete Hegseth, who said this on Saturday, expressed confidence that the US President Donald Trump would get a deal with Iran.
Hegseth was speaking in Singapore at the Shangri-La Dialogue, a defence summit, stating that Iran knows what US expectations are.
“They’re coming in our direction and the talks have been productive. They know where it needs to go, and I’m quite confident with our president, who makes nothing but great deals,” he said.
Hegseth equally noted that the Strait of Hormuz was raised often during his talks with allies at the defence summit, stressing that the US had reassured them.
DAILY POST recalls that trouble started on February 28, when the United States, in collaboration with its ally, Israel, launched an offensive attack on Iran, killing its Supreme Leader and many others.
