I bought the land N4bn but now its’s worth N8b – Davido reveals as he visits construction site of his Eko Atlantic mansion (video)

Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has commenced construction on a multi-billion naira mansion in the upscale Eko Atlantic City, Lagos.

During a recent visit to the construction site, the singer revealed he purchased the land for ₦4 billion in Janu ary 2024. He noted that the property’s market value has already doubled, appreciating to an estimated ₦8 billion. 

The upcoming residential project will feature a sophisticated four-story structure tailored for his family and career. According to the artist, the architectural layout will dedicate individual floors to himself, his wife Chioma, and their children, ensuring ultimate privacy within the household. Reflecting his status as a global music icon, the mansion will also house a state-of-the-art, in-house recording studio.

Beyond the primary living quarters, the mega-mansion is set to feature elite amenities that rival world-class resorts. Plans for the property include a massive subterranean underground garage with the capacity to park up to 20 vehicles, a luxury swimming pool, and fully integrated quarters to accommodate his residential staff and security detail
