Iran military rebuilding 'faster than expected' as Khamenei issues nuclear order

The development comes as Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei has issued a stark directive to retain all enriched uranium within Iran’s borders. Intelligence sources reveal that Iran has exploited the six-week ceasefire to resume drone manufacturing.

According to a CNN report, four sources confirmed that Iran’s military is recovering far more quickly than anticipated. This encompasses the replacement of missile installations, launch systems, and manufacturing capacity for crucial weapons platforms destroyed during the conflict.

The sources indicated this demonstrates Iran remains a substantial threat to regional allies should the U.S. resume military action. Doubts also surround earlier assertions regarding the long-term impact of US-Israeli strikes on Iran’s military infrastructure.

Meanwhile, certain projections from U.S. intelligence suggest Iran could completely restore its drone attack capabilities within just six months, a U.S. official informed the outlet.

A fresh report from the AP states that weapons are increasingly being displayed openly throughout Tehran, indicating mounting defiance as U.S. President Donald Trump warns he could restart hostilities with Iran should negotiations fail and the Islamic Republic refuse to surrender control of the Strait of Hormuz.

This troubling development emerges as Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has reportedly instructed that all near-weapons-grade uranium must remain within Iran. The intelligence stems from senior Iranian sources.

Should Khamenei maintain this position, preventing the uranium from being transferred overseas, it will probably render any peace talks unworkable. A key demand from the U.S. and Israel for ending the conflict is that the uranium be relocated and no longer accumulated on Iranian soil.

Last month in April, Trump told Agence France-Presse that the issue of Iran’s enriched uranium stockpile would be “perfectly taken care of” under a new deal, or I wouldn’t have settled.”

Iran has allegedly amassed over 400 kilograms of highly enriched uranium, which Israeli officials warn possesses the capacity to produce 11 nuclear weapons if further enriched.
