US President Donald Trump has again threatened Iran shortly before posting an image of him hitting a big, red button.

The US and Iran have been in conflict since February 28. The two countries have not agreed upon a long-term solution to end the war that has rocked global markets and disrupted the Middle East.

Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social on Sunday, May 17: “For Iran, the Clock is Ticking, and they better get moving, FAST, or there won’t be anything left of them. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! President DJT”

This was followed hours later by an AI image of the US leader pushing what appears to be a nuclear button, while mushroom-shaped plumes are shown on screens behind Trump.
