JUST IN: Jerry Gana receives Jonathan’s PDP certificate of return

Former Information Minister, Jerry Gana, on Saturday received the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) certificate of return on behalf of former President Goodluck Jonathan at the party’s national convention in Abuja.

The certificate was presented by the PDP Interim National Working Committee led by Kabiru Turaki, a development that has further fuelled discussions about Jonathan’s political future ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Gana received the certificate in the presence of party leaders, delegates, former ministers, state officials, and supporters at the convention venue in Area 10, Garki.

Following the presentation, he addressed party members and journalists, although details of his remarks were not immediately available.

The development comes amid ongoing debates within the PDP over its leadership structure, internal reforms, and strategy for the 2027 general election.
