Transfer: Fenerbahçe step up bid to sign Bassey

Fenerbahçe are intensifying efforts to sign Fulham defender Calvin Bassey, DAILY POST reports.
The Turkish Super Lig giants have identified the Nigeria international has a target ahead of the summer transfer window.
Fenerbahçe presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım will travel to England for talks with Fulham officials, according to reports.
Yıldırım will also meet with Bassey’s while in London.
The centre-back joined Fulham from Ajax Amsterdam in 2023 for a fee of €22.5 million.
The 26-year-old has one-year remaining on his contract.
