âEven if I hit you first, donât hit me backâ â Lady shares stance on domestic violence

A lady has sparked reactions online after stating that she could never marry a man who hits women, even if the woman was the one who started the physical confrontation.
Speaking in a video, she said there is no situation that would make her accept being beaten by a partner.
According to her, she would rather be divorced, reported to the police or have a second wife brought into the marriage than be physically assaulted.
She argued that if a woman becomes violent, a man should restrain her or walk away instead of retaliating.
“Even if I hit you first, I don’t expect you to hit me back. Pin me to the wall, leave the house or call the police, but don’t touch me,” she said.
