AbdulRazaq approves minor cabinet reshuffle

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara in Monday approved a minor cabinet reshuffle affecting all his Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mashood Agboola, in Ilorin.
The governor said the decision was intended to create opportunities for more party members and inject fresh energy into the administration.
He said the exercise also affected the Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor.
The state government said the reshuffle is aimed at creating opportunities for more members of the ruling party to serve, while injecting fresh energy into the administration.
The governor thanked the affected appointees for what he described as their selfless and invaluable service to the state.
The governor expressed his gratitude to all the appointees for their priceless service to the state.
AbdulRazaq also directed all affected appointees to hand over government property in their custody to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
