Actress Damilola Adegbite has shared a heartfelt message after attending the service of songs held for actor Alexx Ekubo.

Speaking in a video posted on Instagram, Damilola said the gathering served as a reminder of how fragile life is and how easily people can become consumed by the pursuit of wealth, success and material things.

According to her, moments of loss often force people to reflect on what truly matters and the kind of impact they are leaving behind.

She noted that while it is important to enjoy God’s blessings and make the most of opportunities in life, there is a greater purpose beyond acquiring possessions and chasing personal ambitions.

Damilola said she believes people should strive to leave a positive mark on the lives of others through their work, generosity, kindness and relationships.

She also encouraged everyone to live intentionally and regularly ask themselves important questions about the legacy they are building.

“What will people say about my life? How many lives have I added to?” she asked.

The actress urged people to think beyond their goals and achievements and focus on making a meaningful difference in the lives of those around them.
