Datti Baba-Ahmed Says Donald Duke Can Defeat Tinubu and Peter Obi in Fair Election

Former Labour Party Vice Presidential candidate Datti Baba-Ahmed, now a chieftain of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), has declared that former Cross River State governor Donald Duke has the capacity to defeat both President Bola Tinubu and Labour Party’s Peter Obi in a free, fair, and credible election.

Speaking online, Baba-Ahmed described Duke who recently emerged as the PRP’s presidential candidate as one of Nigeria’s most capable political figures whose national appeal and leadership qualities are frequently underestimated.

He argued that Nigerians risk repeating the same error made in 2023, when many dismissed Peter Obi’s chances before he mounted a surprisingly strong challenge.

Baba-Ahmed was emphatic in his assessment, insisting that on a level playing field, Duke would come out on top among the country’s presidential contenders.
