Friends share photo of young woman sl@ughtered by her boyfriend in Delta State

The young woman allegedly k!lled by her boyfriend in Edjeba, Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, has been pictured for the first time. 
Friends took to X to share photos of the young woman while mourning her one day after she was k!lled. 
 

According to reports, the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, June 23, at her boyfriend’s apartment on Ajidi Street. 
Friends of the deceased said she was dating the suspect and had called them in panic to say her boyfriend was h@rming her. 
 

They called the boyfriend but he alleged she was not with him. 
Hours later, the body of the girlfriend was found in a pool of bl00d in her boyfriend’s living room. Her neck had reportedly been slashed, k!lling her. Reports claim she also had multiple stab wounds (read here). 
According to reports, the deceased was a frequent visitor to the suspect’s residence. She was last seen in the community on Monday, June 22, buying food items, reportedly for a meal they planned to share. 
Residents said the landlord heard screams coming from the apartment so he called security operatives. 
Police responded and discovered the woman’s lifeless body with severe injuries inside the apartment. 
The suspect was immediately arrested and taken into custody. 
The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the incident. Spokesperson Bright Edafe stated that investigations are ongoing.
