He said he wanted to sleep with me, but I told him I am a married woman – Lady in viral video being ass@ulted by a man in Abia speaks
The victim of a violent assault captured in a viral video in Aba, Abia State, has broken her silence to reveal the events leading up to the attack.
.....
Speaking with human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishu, the victim, identified as Amarachi, disclosed that her assailant, 37-year-old Agwu Ukpo, acted out of deep-seated resentment after she repeatedly rejected his sexual advances.
According to Amarachi, Ukpo had pressured her into a sexual relationship, which she firmly declined, citing her marital status and commitment to her husband. She stated that this rejection bred ongoing hostility from Ukpo.
The tension culminated in a minor disagreement over a pot of soup, which Ukpo allegedly used as a pretext to launch an unprovoked physical assault against her. The violent encounter was captured on video and widely circulated across social media platforms, sparking public outrage.
Amarachi, who is currently residing in Lagos, announced plans to travel back to Abia State to file an official statement with the police. She is demanding full accountability and legal justice for the assault.
