NPFL: Abia Warriors chief outlines future plans

Abia Warriors FC Chairman, John Obuh, has outlined the club’s ambition for the future, DAILY POST reports.
Obuh said their aim is to build a world-class club that competes at the highest level.
He added that the club’s vision is centred on excellence and talent development.
“Our Vision. Our Pride. The Future of Nigerian Football,” Obuh stated in a message released after the 2025/26 NPFL season.
“We are committed to excellence on and off the pitch through discipline, integrity, innovation, and a strong winning culture.
“To compete, develop, and inspire through football excellence.”
DAILY POST recalls that Abia Warriors played in the CAF Confederation Cup two seasons ago.
The Umuahia-based club missed out on a continental ticket last season.
