NPFL: Kano Pillars set to appoint Salisu Yusuf as head coach

Salisu Yusuf is set to be appointed technical adviser of Kano Pillars ahead of 2026-27 season.
Yusuf previously managed the Sai Masu Gida during the 2021-22 season.
The tactician’s return marks another spell with the four-time Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions as they look to strengthen for the new campaign.
The 2018 CHAN silver-winning coach ended his deal with Coton Sport of Benin Republic by mutual agreement at the end of last season.
Yusuf guided Coton Sport to second position in the Championnat National du Bénin last season and secured a CAF Confederation Cup ticket.
Kano Pillars barely managed to escape relegation in the NPFL last season.
