NWFL playoff: FC Robo Queens upset Nasarawa Amazons to record first win

FC Robo Queens bounced back into reckoning in the Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, Super Six playoff, claiming a stunning 2-0 victory over Nasarawa Amazons in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
The Lagos Landladies, who lost their opening two fixtures to Rivers Angels , and Edo Queens scored twice in the second half.
It was Nasarawa Amazons’ first defeat of the NWFL Super Six playoff.
Falconets striker Opeyemi Ajakaye gave FC Robo Queens the lead one minute before the hour mark.
Before Nasarawa Amazons could recover from the setback, FC Robo Queens struck again through Kemi Adegbuyi.
Despite the win, Clement Osahon’s side remain bottom of the log, while Nasarawa Amazons sit in second position.
