Police search for parents after rescuing four children in Bayelsa

The Bayelsa State Police Command has appealed to members of the public to help locate the parents or guardians of four children rescued in different parts of the state.
The command said in a public announcement issued on Saturday that the children were rescued in the Ekeremor Local Government Area and the Yenagoa Local Government Area.
The rescued children were identified as 12-year-old Affiong Etim, 12-year-old Stephen Ibrahim, 13-year-old Divine Okon and six-year-old Majesty Edolor.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Musa Mohammed, urged anyone with useful information that could help reunite the children with their families to contact the Bayelsa State Police Command.
“By this announcement, the Police Command solicits the co-operation of members of the public, who may have useful information about their parents or guardians, to contact the Police Public Relations Officer, Bayelsa State Police Command, on GSM No. 07032702984 or O/C Gender 07039716585, please,” the statement read.
