50-year-old charged following Ann Widdecombe social media post

A 50-year-old has been arrested and charged following a post on social media about the death of former British MP Ann Widdecombe.
Widdecombe, 78, was found dead at her home in Haytor on Dartmoor, Devon, last Thursday.
Police received a report about a post on Saturday.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We received reports on Saturday July 11 relating to a post made online.
“Following further assessment, a 50-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
