Adeleke promises more development if re-elected as Osun governor

If re-elected, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has pledged to raise the standard even further by providing more developmental programs for the Osun people.
During the consultation and mobilization trip of the Imole Campaign Council prior to the governorship election, Adeleke made this statement between Erin-Osun and Ilobu in the state’s Irepodun Local Government Area.
Adeleke said that his administration has kept the pledges made to the populace during the 2022 campaign in a statement signed by Olawale Rasheed, the governor’s spokesperson, which was retrieved in Osogbo on Thursday.
He emphasized that if re-elected, the state would achieve even more.
Governor Adeleke expressed appreciation for the people’s support, recalling that when he assumed office in 2022, he had promised good governance and had since fulfilled that promise, while stressing that residents of Osun State are yet to see the full extent of what his administration plans to deliver.
Speaking at the grand finale of his campaign rally in Ilobu, former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Lasun Yusuf, speaking on behalf of other stakeholders in Irepodun Local Government.
Passed a vote of confidence in Adeleke’s administration and assured him of overwhelming support and victory in the August 15 governorship election.
In their separate remarks, the Elerin of Erin-Osun, Oba Yusuf Adekunle, prayed for the governor’s successful re-election, expressing confidence that the people of Erin-Osun would once again entrust him with the mandate to continue the transformation of the state.
Similarly, the Olobu of Ilobu, Oba Ashiru Olatoye, assured the governor and members of the Imole Campaign Council of Ilobu’s continued support, expressing confidence that the people of Irepodun Local Government would overwhelmingly back the governor’s second-term ambition.
The monarch offered his prayers and support, affirming that Ilobu and Irepodun Local Government would once again stand by the governor’s re-election bid, and prayed for his victory and strength to continue delivering good governance and development across the state.
An online news platform reports that the electorate will vote on August 15 to elect a governor, with 14 political parties fielding candidates in the poll.
