âBusinesses are dy!ng in South Africa. Nobody is making money – South African man decries low patronage days after anti-immigrant protest

A South African man has decried low patronage of nightlife businesses as well as street vendors and informal traders in the country,
In a video he recorded and posted online, the man showed how deserted business areas were.
He blamed the decline in patronage on recent xenophob!c attacks targeting Black foreigners and the closure of foreign-owned businesses in parts of the country.
On June 30, several African nationals accused of being illegal immigrants were kicked out of the country an action that has been widely condemned by many African leaders.
