BREAKING: Spiritual leader of Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Emmanuel Alogbo dies at 93
The spiritual father and leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, Emmanuel Alogbo, is dead.
Announcing his death on Thursday, the church said Alogbo died at the age of 93.
In a statement signed by its Secretary-General, Prophet Anthony Olusesan Samaye, the C and S Church said Alogbo died peacefully in the early hours of Thursday at his residence in Lagos.
According to the statement, the cleric passed away at about 2:10 a.m. while surrounded by members of his family and domestic staff.
“With gratitude to God Almighty for a life well spent, on behalf of the Board of Trustees and the entire church, I write to inform you all that our Spiritual Father was called to glory in the early hours of today, July 30, 2026, at about 2:10 a.m.,” the statement read.
The statement added that details of the funeral arrangements would be announced at a later date.
