Ghanaian prophet Kwabena Okumdom has claimed in a new revelation that Chairman Wontumi will not serve even six months of his 20-year prison sentence, alleging that his release will come “following a phone call from above.”
“I saw that Chairman Wontumi was released without even serving six months of his jail term, following a phone call from above,” Okumdom said, sharing what he described as a spiritual vision following the Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman’s conviction and sentencing in the Samreboi illegal mining case.
The prediction adds to a wave of prophetic claims that have surfaced in the wake of Chairman Wontumi’s sentencing, with an earlier prophecy by Prophet Samuel Henry, popularly known as Prophet Roja, also resurfacing online.
Prophet Roja had claimed in October 2025 that he foresaw Chairman Wontumi being jailed for 15 years unless Ghanaians prayed for him, a figure that differs from the actual 20-year sentence handed down by the court.
Prophet Kwabena Okumdom’s prophecy claims as it stands can be treated online as speculative prophecy rather than a confirmed legal development.
