Spiritual leader Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, has described controversy as a major part of his public identity.
Speaking in an interview with Roselyn Felli, Ajagurajah said he does not avoid controversy because he believes it naturally follows him.
“Controversy is in my blood. It calls on my name and I answer him. Controversy is a part of me. Controversy is my twin brother. We eat together, sleep together and dine together,” he said.
The spiritual leader also spoke about the people who seek his guidance, claiming that many side chicks visit him for spiritual support.
“I’m a prophet for side chicks. I do a lot for them. They come to me, and I give them what they want,” he stated.
He explained that he does not offer the same support to married women because, in his view, many of them are unwilling to seek help due to pride.
During the interview, Ajagurajah was asked whether he would have become popular without social media platforms such as TikTok.
He insisted that his success was not dependent on social media and that he would have achieved the same recognition without it.
“I would have been who I am without TikTok. My father was Abednego without social media,” he said.
Ajagurajah added that he believes his personality and what he called the “Ajagurajah spirit” are responsible for his popularity, rather than TikTok.
“Not TikTok, Ajagurajah has helped me. There are so many people who have TikTok but they are still in the shadows. Many have gone viral before but we don’t hear from those people again,” he added.
