DJ Chicken's Lawyer Begs Seyi Tinubu for Mercy After Arrest

Following his detention for allegedly making remarks about President Bola Tinubu’s son, the attorney for controversial entertainer DJ Chicken has pleaded with Seyi Tinubu to pardon his client.

The attorney stated in a video posted online that DJ Chicken was taken into jail by security officials after being arrested in Ikeja.

DJ Chicken has been turned over to the police. He was detained at Ikeja.

He’s currently at the police headquarters in Ikeja, but I’m positive it’s the DSS,” he remarked.

He claims that “the statement he made some days ago about the son of the President, Seyi Tinubu” is the reason behind the detention.

In order to obtain DJ Chicken’s release, the attorney made a heartfelt appeal to supporters and powerful people.

“Fans, well-wishers, chicken lovers, and those close to the president, please assist us in our plea. We humbly ask that the President, the President’s son, pardon Chicken.

“He’s not okay like that,” he added, implying that DJ Chicken had mental health issues. We are merely handling him.

Chicken is actually a personal effort of mine. I became interested in him.

“He has fucked up, but please, we are begging,” the lawyer said, acknowledging that his client had made mistakes.

I’ll start phoning everyone I know who is close to Seyi Tinubu right now so we can beg. Please, they ought to pardon him. We’ll exert every effort.

As of the time this report was filed, neither the Department of State Services (DSS) nor the police had formally verified the attorney’s claims.
