The remaining three daily flights on the route will continue to be operated using retrofitted four-class Boeing 777 aircraft. With the addition of Delhi, Emirates’ A380 service in India will expand beyond Mumbai and Bengaluru, reflecting growing passenger demand on routes between India and Dubai.Announcing the expansion, Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, said the move demonstrates the airline’s continued commitment to the Indian market. He added that the carrier is also increasing the availability of its Premium Economy cabin across the country to give travellers more options. From the end of October, Premium Economy will be available on Emirates flights serving six Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Kochi.According to the airline, nearly half of its scheduled weekly flights to India will offer Premium Economy by the end of October.
