Kano Fire Service saves 3 persons, N482m property in one month

The Kano State Fire Service says it has saved three persons and property worth N482 million from 30 incidents recorded across the 44 local government areas in June.
The Director of Kano State Fire Service, Sani Anas, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Monday in Kano.
He said five persons lost their lives due to incidents involving ponds and wells while property worth N120 million were destroyed by the fire during the period under review.
According to him, the service responded to seven emergency calls and one false alarm from residents of the state.
The director urged the general public to adopt proper fire safety measures to avoid unforeseen circumstances.
Anas said the service is committed to protect lives and property through prompt emergency response and preventive safety measures.
